Where has he been lately? The fomer MVP Seattle Seahawk star running back has been out of a job and can’t seem to find one. Just 3 years ago, he rushed for 1880 yards and 27 td’s… In ‘07 he rushed for 716 yards, and 3.5 per carry. He was released because of career low’s since becoming a starter in Seattle. According to Keyshawn, he may not even want to play again in the NFL. I think this is unbelievable that a man of his status, and 3 years off of the best RB in the league can’t find a job. Is he not going to accept a backup position? It’s possible that the risk outweighs reward in the injury department nowadays for him.
As for the Seahawks, they replaced him this year by bringing in former Dallas Cowboy Julius Jones who was involved in a RBC system. They also brought in former starting running back from the Atlanta Falcons, TJ Duckett. They now have a competition between Maurice Morris, TJ, and Julius for the starting spot in Seattle. I personally think it should be no competition for Julius… Parcell’s just liked Marion Barber more… I think Julius will have a successful year and replace the now unemployed Shaun Alexander.
