MLB has not officially reported this, but is expected.

The team has not hosted the All-Star Game since 1964, the longest drought of any franchise.

Mets owners Fred and Jeff Wilpon dropped a bombshell yesterday by announcing they seek limited partners to buy 20-25 percent of the team in the wake of what they characterized as “uncertainty” following the lawsuit filed against them by Irving Picard, the trustee liquidating Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities Inc.

In 2010, Citi Field was ranked 27th out of 30 for Homerun’s in 2010 and was Ranked 25th for Run’s in 2010 by ESPN. Now this could be from the atrocious team that walks out on that field everyday, or the fact that it’s to damn hard to hit a home run at Citi.
